Ettore Tiotto
Bio

Ettore Tiotto graduated "Summa Cum Laude" in Physics from the University of Torino, Italy, in 1996. Since joining IBM Toronto Laboratory in 1999 he has worked on numerous releases of the industry leading XL C/C++ compiler for AIX and Linux.. In the past 4 years Ettore has participated in ongoing research and development of a prototype Unified Parallel C compiler (recipient of the High Performance Computing Challenge Class 2 Award). He currently leads the UPC compiler development team in the IBM Toronto Laboratory.
